Is it normal that having a good and healthy alimentation is too expensive for most of us? Do you think it’s NORMAL?

dontletthemdefineyou said: Hello, I love your illustrations and your style of drawings. I know it`s probably a common question but I`m going to uni for Photography but would like to get into illustration as well. Even just for myself. Thus, wanted to ask you, how often do you draw and do you draw from reference or from seeing? If you do it from observation, how do you capture the person`s shape and pose so quickly? I would massively massively appreciate your response! All the best! Thanks, C.

hi C.

thank you for your kind words, and sorry for my late answer, but I’m in holidays at the moment and there’s no internet..

i have phases when i draw the whole day and sometimes i don’t feel like drawing for a week.

i do both, drawing from references, but mostly from seeing. i like that moments fade so quickly. it makes me draw so fast, that i don’t have time to think to much about it. that way its more intuitive and more free, i think.
the rest is practise ;)
i hope the answer is satisfying
all the best
